Member Type Descriptions

CalFlowers is excited to share that, following a member-approved bylaw vote, our classes of membership will be updated to better reflect the diversity and national reach of our association. Updated membership classes will allow CalFlowers to strengthen member representation, improve clarity, and better support the evolving floral industry. Read the full update. 

 

Please select the Member Type where you earn 50%+ of your income:

  • Grower Member: Persons and entities that derive a majority of income from the production of flowers, foliage, and/or ornamentals.
  • Wholesaler Member: Persons and entities that derive a majority of income from the distribution of flowers, foliage, and/or ornamentals including wholesalers, brokers & importers. 
  • Retail Member: Persons and entities that derive a majority of income from the sale of flowers, foliage, and/or ornamentals to consumers or the public at large.
  • Agricultural Member: Persons and entities that derive a majority of their income from the production and/or distribution of agricultural commodities other than flowers or ornamentals including specialty produce, herbs, etc.
  • Associate Member: Persons and entities with a direct or indirect affiliation with categories 1, 2, 3, or 4.
  • Industry Partner: Persons and entities which are transportation providers, associations, or benefit providers with a direct or indirect affiliation with CalFlowers.
