Steve Dionne has served on the CalFlowers Board of Directors for over 16 years, and has twice served as President of the association. Steve has been involved in the California floral industry for over 26 years, and is owner of Wafex USA in partnership with Wafex Australia. He holds a B.A. from University of San Diego.  Steve’s industry achievements include SAF’s Floral Marketer of the Year (1998), and induction into The American Academy of Floriculture (2010).


 

Lani Conklin

In her role as Director of Marketing and Member Services, Lani Conklin helps develop social media and online presence to support the membership and the association's initiatives.  Conklin assists in the execution of member events, especially the biennial CalFlowers Floral Convention and Member Meetings.

Chris Johnson
Director of Transportation

Chris Johnson, CalFlowers Director of Transportation, is well-known to the membership because he functions as a liaison between members and carriers and produces all transportation related communications to the membership. The Director of Transportation administers, maintains and actively promotes CalFlowers transportation programs to members and potential members through the association's for-profit subsidiary, Northern California Flower Growers & Shippers, LLC. Johnson also assists in developing new transportation programs, and actively participates in the planning and execution of the biennial CalFlowers Floral Convention, and Member Meetings.

Monnaie Pepin
Director of Member Relations & Events

Monnaie Pepin, Director of Member Relations & Events, helps develop marketing and communications programs to support the membership and the association's initiatives.  Monnaie plans and executes all member events, especially the biennial CalFlowers Floral Convention, and the biennial Member Meetings.  She also coordinates and manages the association's participation in floral industry events.
