Some stations may have just started new episodes, so check local listings for dates and times if you prefer to enjoy traditional TV.

June 9 - Honeycomb Blooms - This revolves around honey and honeycomb in literal and figurative ways. Included: a visit to Two Bee’s Protea Farm.

June 16 - Flower Ingenuity - This episode is based entirely at Kendall Farms – with Troy Conner as co-host, essentially – and showcases many of their fascinating processes for growing, harvesting, and distributing flowers.

June 23 - Listen to Nature - Ms. Margo, seer of her clan, joins J in the garden as they listen to, and explore messages from nature, including trees, herbs, and, of course, flowers. Ms. Margo also provides insight on newest garden denizen, Georgy Girl.

June 30 - Life In Gloom - Holidays and flowers just go together, and you can preview our Halloween special ahead of the season. Included: a cemeterrarium and pumpkin couture.

Ocean Breeze International Continues Viewer Sweepstakes

“We are thrilled that Ocean Breeze International continues to celebrate Life In Bloom viewers, by sending them flowers!” exclaims J. Viewers can send in pictures of their flower arrangements inspired by the show to be eligible for a random drawing, for a box of flowers provided by Ocean Breeze. One drawing is held weekly (shipping-weather permitted). We’ll share recent entries, and the arrangements viewers create with their box of flowers, again soon.

Season 8 Begins Production with California Location Filming

“Thanks again to CalFlowers’ commitment we are able to film in California and will share exciting segments with viewers in 2026,” notes J. “A special travel stipend for this season made it possible and we are truly grateful.”

The “Life In Bloom” crew filmed the New San Francisco Flower Market (“What a gorgeous place,” said J,) including a visit with Barbara Schnur at Mayesh, among many. “Robin van der Schaaf, of 2 Plant, suggested the story of the journey of Lily bulbs from The Netherlands to California farms - and it is fascinating,” says J. “We also filmed at Ocean Breeze Farms with Ivor and Rene Van Wingerden, as well as Michael Furlong. There’s nothing like a greenhouse filled with Gerberas!” The production also included a visit with Joost Bongaerts and his team at Florabundance – “Everything under the Sun is NOT just a tagline — they have it all and more and it’s gorgeous and fresh and fragrant!” says J.

CalFlowers Member Appreciation Meetings

J and Kelly will be attending the upcoming Member Appreciation Meetings in both locations, San Francisco and San Diego and look forward to mingling with CalFlowers members. J’s presentation will include updates on the show’s success and feedback from viewers on how flower really do make a difference in their lives.

Thank you to CalFlowers for their continued support of the show - helping us spread the goodness of flowers every day. There is an episode playing every day somewhere in the country as the show reaches 115 million homes weekly, playing thousands of times each month according to TRAC Media. We are happy to share the viewership reports with the board or any CalFlowers members who might be interested,” enthused J.
